Two Sunbeam aluminum coil annealing furnaces at Dow Chemical Company Madison Division. Each furnace is designed to operate between 300°F. and 1000°F. and is capable of annealing up to 100,000 pounds of aluminum coil per load. Cooling takes place inside the furnace. A continuous roller chain practically eliminates maintenance and lubrication costs as its carries the furnace cars in and out of the furnace without the use of conventional wheels or bearings.
